Buses
The cheapest means of transport to downtown from Indianapolis International Airport is to take the city bus service, Indy Go, which runs regularly throughout the day from the courtesy vehicle island at the airport.
Shuttle Buses
Three shuttle services operate from the airport including: the Lincoln Land Express to Champaign and Urbana; the Bloomington Shuttle Service to Bloomington and Indiana University; and a service to Lafayette and Purdue University.
Hotel Shuttle Buses
Many of Indiana's hotels offer free hotel shuttles from directly outside the airport terminal, which can be booked in advance. The hotel information boards at the Baggage Claim areas in Arrivals have details on which hotels are served by courtesy shuttles; shuttles go from the courtesy vehicle island near the Ground Transportation Center.
Taxi Cabs
Taxis provide speedy and efficient services from Indianapolis International Airport (IND) to hotels and the city center and they leave from Lower Terminal drive, outside the front of the terminal building. There is a special button for ordering a taxi in the taxi area.
Limousines
For added comfort, Indianapolis International Airport is served by a number of limousine operations, where shared-ride and luxury limousine services are available. Limousine companies include: Affinity Limousine and Tours, Carey Indiana and Hoosier Limousine.
